It IS in SHAMBLES, indeed!
Even with the article taking a liberal bent, the basic premise is true; Homeland Security, et al is a dismal failure and can be placed at the foot of "W".
However, our new attacks have occurred because of the Obama administration's emphasis on "policing" the problem. This creates an impression we're weak - and we are!
The "expert" in the interview also tries to address the "why" - in "why" do they hate us. This is a waste of time and IMO, quite childish.
It's like asking Satan why he hates us and God. It's simple hate, nothing more. I'm never surprised anymore at the liberal hate pointed towards Israel. I would much rather have Israel as the friend and terrorists as the enemy.
Obama, BTW, hates Israel!
